Pleat Collection

The Pleat Collection is a family of 3D-printed pendant lights where height, flare, and pleat count are set by the buyer through a front-end configurator. Each configuration generates a unique form, outputs a print-ready 3D file, and can be ordered directly. No tooling, no molds, no minimum order due to digital fabrication.

The design process itself was an experiment. LLMs were used to build and iterate on the Grasshopper scripts driving the parametric model compressing what would have been weeks of manual scripting into a rapid development loop. The configurator front-end was built on top of that system and designed specifically for interior designers specifying custom pieces for projects.

The result is a B2B product where the designer is the final author of the form.
